I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Charlize Theron and Sean Penn broke up. How To Deal With a Feud

Have you heard that Katy Perry is releasing a new song called 1984? Subtle, Katy. Real subtle. For those of you not in the know, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift are in a feud. On Taylor’s latest album, which is called 1989, she wrote a song that’s allegedly about Katy Perry entitled Bad Blood. One of the rumors is that Katy Perry was never that nice to Taylor and the straw that broke the camel’s back was when Katy Perry stole some of Taylor’s back up dancers to bring on Katy’s tour. I’m sure Katy has her side of the story as well. There’s also the confounding factor that both of them dated-slash-are-currently-dating John Mayer. The plot thickens because Katy just listed a new song with her publisher called 1984. That seems like a direct connection to Taylor’s album, right? Anyway, if two super busy, incredibly talented women can find the time to feud publicly, then I’m assuming most people have some sort of similar conflict in their lives. How To Deal With Impersonal Setups

I just read that Ellie Goulding set up Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris (everyone’s well, at least MY favorite couple du jour) because they were both tall. THAT was her reason. Um, does she think that Tay should date every single player in the NBA, too? That set up was based on nothing substantial. And a lot of my friends feel like they get set up with other people for superficial reasons, too. I think gay men have it worst. One of my gay besties calls it “gottagay.” As in, “I gotta a gay for you.” There’s nothing else connecting the two people, just that they both happen to be homosexuals. So, obviously they should date, right? Woof. Here’s how to deal when you’re approached with one of those scenarios. Read more

How To Have Sex When You Don’t Feel Great About Your Body

Oh, honey. I feel you. I really, really do. I think most women and probably a good chunk of men have felt the pain you’re in. Whether you’re dealing with a post-partum body, a few extra pounds, boobs you don’t think are big enough, thigh you don’t think are small enough or just a general “society is forcing me to hate myself so I do” crummy-ness, it can make getting intimate and feeling sexy seem very, very unappealing. But, no matter the shape or size of your body or how you feel about the thing, I know one thing about your body…it wants sex. It’s a natural thing that every body wants. So, don’t deprive it of this very basic necessity. Here’s how you can have sex when you’re not in love with your body. Read more

The Girl That Got Away

We recently read an article written by a guy about how every guy has a “girl who got away”. As predicted, the article discussed how every guy has some girl in his past who has come and gone and for whatever reason he just cannot forget about her. For most guys, its assumed that she was his first great love. So these poor guys (or poor every guy?) are left to live the rest of their lives to still think of her on occasion, why things went wrong, what they could have done better, and the fact that she is gone forever.
