Daily horoscopes: October 5, 2016

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

You’re not happy with the end result but if you review the original wish you wished you’ll see that it’s been fulfilled – despite its unlikely outcome.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

You get twice as much done and for half the effort, but you’ll still have to share the spoils.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Don’t worry if people quit the negotiating table in a huff.  They’ll be back.  Dramatic exits betray how limited their repertoire really is.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

You supported those who supported you but it hasn’t gotten you very far.  It may be time to switch horses and join the competition.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

News of a transfer makes you wonder if superiors question your ability.  Actually the intention is for you to bring light to a darkened corner.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

Just because you hold the trump card doesn’t mean you have to play it.  You can make the easy score, but if you finesse you’ll get more.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

It’s infuriating to hit a wall especially when you’re being so reasonable.  Nevertheless a loved one needs time to absorb what you have to say.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

There’s the letter of the law and then there’s the spirit. Be more benevolent in the way you enforce a matter and you will be rewarded tenfold.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Opportunities explode like bunnies popping out of hats. And the best thing about today’s Mars/Jupiter square is that bunnies multiply!

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

It’s time to say good-bye to an association that isn’t working.  Don’t worry.  This clears the way for a better one to come along.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You’ll raise eyebrows by toeing the party line, but in truth you always put the interests of the group over those of the individual – including yourself.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

Any worthwhile opportunity come with strings attached.  It’s not a conspiracy of circumstances out to thwart you; it’s just a fact of life.
