Don’t be worried about landing a client or customer. If anything you want to play it cool. The more blasé you look, the higher the offer goes.
(April 20 – May 20):
Someone in a position to help won’t be able to after all. It’s best to move on to Plan B. Be polite about it because s/he meant well.
(May 21 – June 20):
Before you begin rationalizing why you’ve been shortchanged, point it out. The oversight may be completely unintentional.
(June 21 – July 21):
Take a closer look at that rule or clause. What prohibits others does not necessarily apply to you. Tiptoe your way around an impasse.
(July 22 – Aug. 22):
Honor and obey don’t always go hand in hand. Do what you feel is right in your heart – even if you know someone else won’t like it. They’ll appreciate it later.
(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):
Don’t get stuck going from one patch-up job to the next. An in-depth analysis of what’s wrong and what needs to be done to fix it convinces a client to stop penny pinching.
(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):
Why put off a simple obligation? You could take care of it in a fraction of the time you spend obsessing over it.
(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):
You’re given an opportunity to settle a financial matter once and for all. By all means resolve it. Anything is favorable at this point.
(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):
You tried a lot of possibilities and came up short. Combine a couple. It could make the difference.
(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):
You don’t like it when things are made easy, but cut yourself some slack. Besides you’ll have more than enough to contend with in your near future.
(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):
An adversary’s remorse makes you hesitate. Reflect on the grief this person caused. You’re right to close the door and to keep it closed.
(Feb. 18 – March 19):
Think twice before speaking for someone else. This person may not be as committed to seeing a project through and you don’t need another headache.
