Lindsay’s “list” makes the rounds

People often say you should never – EVER – UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES share your "number" with someone you're dating. Not the number of donuts you ate for breakfast this week, silly. Your sexual history - the number of men or women (or men and women - hey you never know!) you've hooked up with. Why? Because making a record of this statistic can be catastrophic - just ask Lindsay Lohan. Read more

What we can learn from James Franco’s dating fiasco

There’s a right and wrong way to go about using dating sites and social media to find love – or sex. Or a combination of both. Let’s face it – Sometimes it’s whichever comes first. I don’t judge. Actor James Franco recently demonstrated the wrong way. In fact he also demonstrated what a clueless, desperate idiot he is. After meeting a female fan outside the Broadway theater where he’s starring in “Of Mice and Men,” Franco posed for a photo with said fan. Read more

Conscious uncoupling?

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow
Leave it up to Gwyneth Paltrow to take to her website with the announcement of her split from husband of 11 years, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with this headline: “Conscious uncoupling.” Conscious un-what? Huh? Call it what you will – splitsville, divorce – you can dress up the dissolution of a marriage however you want, but it’s an ugly thing no matter what fancy title you give it. Gwyneth, who has unceremoniously earned the title of Most Hated Hollywood Celeb in a recent poll, had the chance to redeem herself and earn the sympathy of her fans with this announcement. No one wants to see people go through a divorce – especially children – and Gwyneth has 2. But instead, she came up with this silly headline, claimed she and Chris were “closer than ever” and made a further mockery of her brand and her name, further driving her image of icky perfection home – and driving fans away. Poor Leo

Leonardo DiCaprio
#PoorLeo. #GiveLeoAnOscar. These hash tags blew up the Twittersphere on Oscars night when Matthew McConaghey took home top honors for Best Actor, sending the popular choice (and my own personal favorite) Leonardo DiCaprio home empty-handed. Luckily The Wolf Of Wall Street actor had his date's shoulder to cry on - if he needed it. He chose the woman on his arm wisely - a woman who loves him unconditionally, who could never be accused of cozying up to him for his money and that alone, a woman who is not and was not ever starstruck by him and his rise to fame - his mommy, Irmelin Indenbirken. What we can learn from Robin Thicke’s Marriage Ending

Robin Thicke
Who’s with me when I say last summer it was very difficult – difficult at the level of passing up a buy-one, get-one shoe sale – to watch Robin Thicke, a married man of 8 years, at the MTV Video Music Awards grinding against a scantily-clad 20+ years younger Miley Cyrus? But probably even more difficult was watching Thicke’s wife, actress Paula Patton, field interview questions following the disgusting performance. She smiled through her teeth, she downplayed it as best as she could, she stood by her husband’s choice to wear an outfit resembling Beetlejuice and even moreso his decision to allow the “Miley monkey” (as I like to call her) climb all over him.
