Daily horoscopes: January 24, 2018

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

The longer you wait, the more likely you’ll be ignored.  Seize the moment and make a bid, play, or daring proposal.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

The first quarter Moon shows an unlikely acquaintance becoming a valuable ally.  Remember being scatterbrained can be a sign of genius.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

You’re in the driver’s seat vis-à-vis an association, so stop tying yourself up in mental knots.  This person will do what you say.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

It’s hard to get excited about someone’s promises.  You’ve heard it all before.  Anyone can talk a good game.  Playing it is another matter.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

You’ve been feeling out of sorts lately because of all the new faces.  Don’t expect them to come to you.  You’ll have to introduce yourself to them.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

Evidently someone has a different take on things than you do.  Patiently explaining the finer details allows you to cover up some holes in the story.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

Ask yourself how you’re contributing to rising tensions.  You need to find a way to bring light rather than heat to a situation.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

Efforts come up short and it looks like you won’t get what you want. Don’t despair. So one approach doesn’t pan out. There are other ways.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Instead of collecting more names, make the most of the ones you already have in your network.  You’re not working contacts as much as you could be.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

This is a good time to initiate a project or venture.  Not only will you find a taker, but securing the long-term funding ought to be a breeze.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You don’t like to be judgmental, but being impartial right now could cost.  Heed territorial instincts and defend your turf.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

Be wary of promises made overnight.  There may be more to this person’s impatience than just enthusiasm.  S/he could be trying to pull a fast one.
