Fabulous hair styles for spring

Spring is all about change: It’s a very “out with the old, in with the new” kind of season.  Time to dust off, and freshen up — not only your closet, but your hair as well. With so many fun trends happening, there’s no time like the present to mix up your current look, with one of these fabulous styles:

The Edgy Pixie:

Hair is flying in Hollywood, and girls are going SHORT for the first time in years.  These looks are not for the shy- they are bold, and sassy.  If you’ve been working out all winter, and you want to walk in the room and be noticed- this look is for you.  It can be right for any texture of hair, but if you are starting with a lot of wave, it will require a relaxer/straightener of some sort.  To add texture, and dimension, hair can be highlighted with an array of dramatic pieces.

The Messy Midi Bob:

The Long Wavy Mermaid:

If you’ve worn your hair up in a ponytail, and sat on your hands for months on end to get your hair long again, this look is for you.  Hair needs to be to below the shoulders, but no longer than mid-back.  This style gives the appearance of an easy, loose but sophisticated wave- think of it as beach hair’s grown up sister.  A wide barrel curling iron or wand is used to twist hair from the cheeckbown and down.  Color looks great with some baby fine highlights at the crown, which work into larger bolder pieces at the hair tips.

Not enough length to pull it off, but still want the look?  Hair extensions can give this look to almost anyone!  Use clip-ons for a night out, or the longer lasting taped/sewn/or bonded strands to keep the look well into summer.  (as FYI, most of LA cheats with this option!)
