Daily horoscopes: October 9, 2018

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

You must decide if a coveted prize is worth it.  If you’re doing it for show then skip it because this trophy carries a heavy burden of responsibility.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

A deal goes south. Let it because right now the wind is against you. Be sure to check in again after the 27th when it will be at your back.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Don’t be so quick to believe what you see.  Mercury in Scorpio means that all the action is going on beneath the surface.  Put out feelers.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

You wish you could be the one, but it’s clear that you’re not. Be a good sport and step out of the way.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

A private matter leaves you feeling powerless but try to get passed that. What’s needed now is a game plan, not drama.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

It’s important to hold your tongue while others let loose with theirs. This way you learn who’s in and who’s out.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

What began as a financial misunderstanding could become worse if you don’t take care of it promptly.  This is not the time to adopt the ostrich policy.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

Mercury, planet of sales, enters Scorpio and right away a transaction falls apart.  This reveals a fundamental weakness too big to ignore.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Don’t join the buzz because you’ll only get stung. The rumor mill will be working overtime thru the 27th so you want to keep a discreet distance.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

Numbers are put on the table.  They look modest to begin with, but rest assured that the profits will be cumulative.  Don’t be penny-wise and pound-foolish.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You’re besieged by people who think they know better.  Let them believe what they want.  It keeps them distracted while you do your own thing.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

Something you pinned your hopes on falls through.  Before you say this is the story of your life, reflect on the progress made recently.  It’s not too shabby.
