Daily horoscopes: October 13, 2016

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

It’s aggravating to work as hard as you do only to see someone mess it all up. It’s happened one too many times. Call this person out on it.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

You tried avoiding an argument but an adversary wants to have it out. He’s about to learn that he’s chosen to lock horns with the wrong bull.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

You can’t just treat a fact like it’s an inconvenient truth. Cop to what’s going on or risk losing credibility.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

You know there are two sides to every story but good luck trying to communicate that today. Let a judgmental loved one discover it on his own.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Throwing your hands up at every turn is a sure way to communicate that you’re out of your element. Is that true? If not, then you’d best sit on them for now.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

You’re not going to get a certain someone to change his mind but introduce some alternatives and you may get him to broaden his perspective.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

Why are you trying to save someone from himself? He’ll only get back in trouble again. Step out of the way and let nature take its course. It’s the best form of nurture.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

It’s hard to join an argument knowing what you know but having to pretend that you don’t. Then again pregnant pauses and suspended silences can be quite telling.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Pay what’s asked and don’t dispute it. Both you and the other party know you don’t owe it but once done you’ll never have to deal with this person again.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

Watch it with the haughty attitude. It may feel good in the moment but it will catch up to you later.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

A co-worker feeds on negative attention. Treat it like a rash. Scratch it and it spreads, ignore it and it goes away on its own.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

Is someone really as immoveable as all that? There’s only one way to find out. Push, but don’t take it too far.
