Daily horoscopes: May 2, 2017

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

You don’t like open-ended agreements, but the current one could work to your advantage.  Leaving terms nebulous now gives you leeway in the future.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

Colleagues close ranks and you should join them.  You don’t want to be outside the loop, but find a way to retain your veto power.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

An offer from out of left field changes the rules of the game.  It’s the bargaining chip you need so don’t be afraid to use it.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

Though it looks like the same song-and-dance, this latest attempt to make amends is sincere.  Be receptive. It will benefit you in the end.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Sometimes the best way to get over a disappointment is to find something else to set your sights on.  Today’s Moon/Venus trine provides just the diversion you need.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

A negotiation hits a bump but work with developments as they unfold and you’ll find your way around it.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

It’s not the terms that are important but the spirit of an agreement.  The desire to be together transcends any obstacle thrown your way.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

The First Quarter Moon puts an end to the downward spiral.  Even if you still feel shaky, act like you’re in charge and no one will dispute it.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

An associate is frustrated and blames you.  Lend a sympathetic ear. Once this person’s done venting, s/he will become more reasonable.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

You and a partner may not see eye-to-eye but what emerges from the back-and-forth will be the best ideas you both have to offer.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You’re better off placating bossy types with the Moon in Leo today.  Pamper and pet and they’ll cuddle up to you soon enough.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

Technically speaking you aren’t bound to an agreement or obligation, but your refusal to be accommodating could come back to haunt you.  Is it truly as burdensome as all that?
