Daily horoscopes: May 11, 2017

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

Mars square Neptune takes the edge off.  Competition is one way to get what you want, cooperation: another.  Try a kinder, gentler approach.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

Someone who promised to leave well enough alone is meddling again.  Call this person on it.  You must be free to do things as you see fit.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Avoid any major business decisions until next week.  With Mars square deceptive Neptune, you’ve got “fleece me” written all over you.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

Good luck pinning a boss down to specifics.  It just won’t happen.  Don’t assume the worst.  He really is trying to deliver on a promise.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

You invested time and money, but an endeavor has yet to pay.  There’s no shame in cutting losses.  It beats throwing good money after bad.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

You’ve been told to keep mum, but why?  You’ve nothing to hide.  If anything, keeping quiet implicates you in something you never did.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

Don’t arm-twist someone into changing sides. You invite retaliation and it results in resentment. This person will come when the time is right.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

Don’t get too invested in trying to get others to see the light.  It won’t happen.  Speak to them on their level and you’ll make headway.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Did you lead someone to believe you said yes when you didn’t? Double-check all tentative agreements.  Nip this in the bud while you can.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

You’re in danger of overextending yourself.  Being a workaholic, it’s not easy to see.  Cut back on extraneous commitments while you can.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

Arguing isn’t worth it. Especially when people are being fussy. Let them pursue whatever avenues they like. All roads lead to you being right.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

A rival tries to hone in on your turf again.  It’s getting tedious.  Wave this person on.  He won’t get far if you refuse to lock horns.
