Daily horoscopes: January 4, 2017

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

If you won’t listen to reason, then how about common sense?  There’s nothing to be gained by pursuing a cause that others bailed on weeks ago.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

The Stars are putting you through your paces. It’s your chance to show off your versatility under fire.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Sometimes people provoke you to act when you can’t act yourself.  A bane to your existence may serve a higher purpose.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

Don’t get distracted by all the possibilities or you’ll wind up chasing after this and that.  Stay focused on what you want and everything will fall into place.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Retrograde Mercury reenters Sagittarius for 8 days.  Avoid white lies, malapropisms, and extravagant claims that you can’t afford to make.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

Maybe it was a misquote, a misprint, or a misfiling that tripped you up. In any case you’ll soon be communicating with someone who can rectify the matter.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

You hate it when people disagree with you, but what if they’re wrong and you’re right? You need to show that you have the courage of your convictions.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

You’re trying to find that place where you can live the life you want. This may be an emotional state or a physical relocation.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Mercury back in Sagittarius is great for being both seen and heard. Don’t be shy about making a pitch, play, or move.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

Be open to a colleague or client’s input – even if it means revising what you’ve just completed.  The end result will be worth it.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You’re into change but too much change turns into reinventing the wheel after a while.  Stick with what you have and see things through to fruition.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

You can expect people to be more forthcoming about what’s going on with Mercury back in Sagittarius.  Or at least they’ll be more obvious about it.
