Daily horoscopes: January 14, 2019

(March 20 – April 19):

It’s not worth getting bent out of shape over the latest indignity.  This reflects poorly on the person who’s being insulting and not on you.

(April 20 – May 20):

Look beyond what people say and consider the spirit in which it is being said. Their motives are sincere.  This should prove both reassuring and illuminating.

(May 21 – June 20):

A supervisor or customer decides to withhold approval in order to teach you a lesson.  Teach him a lesson back by ignoring it.

(June 21 – July 21):

You will always be too sensitive.  That’s why acting like you don’t care will never work.  Accept yourself for who you are and others will, too.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Why accept a no as the final answer when you can make some phone calls?  You know plenty of movers and shakers who would love to help out.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

You won’t like being passed over or overruled, but let it go because it looks like you were overreaching your stretch anyway.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

Fixating on a flaw you can’t change is counterproductive.  Think like an artist and use imperfection to create a thing of beauty.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

You can tell there’s more going on than is being disclosed but pointing that out will open a can of worms.  Best to shelve it for now.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

You’re over budget and have to cut back.  Make a game of it by treating it like a puzzle (instead of a morality tale) and you may even have fun.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

It’s the perfect time to meet with a headhunter or go on a job interview. You’re exactly what people are looking for.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You’re thrilled about winning a prize until you discover that somebody else feels robbed.  How do you spell A-W-K-W-A-R-D?

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

The Mercury/Neptune sextile reminds you of an untapped resource. Touch base with something left behind – like a talent, interest, or person – and you will move forward.
