Daily horoscopes: December 21, 2016

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

The Sun enters the most public angle of your chart.  For the next month you’ll feel like you have to prove yourself.  Remember that you already have.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

Set your sights on the future.  Obviously you need to be conservative in your estimates of what you can do, but that shouldn’t stop you from painting on a larger canvas.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

There are too many loose ends for you to bother with right now, so revisit the situation after the holidays.  Everyone will be in a much better mood.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

Backing down from what you set in motion doesn’t mean you’ll regain support. You need to keep on going with what you put in motion.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

You don’t need a guarantee to move forward – just a hearty pat on the back.  Today’s show of support or encouraging sign lifts gloomy spirits.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

Sit back and take stock of the past year.  There have been a lot of ups and downs, but thankfully the rises outnumber the dips.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

Chickens come home to roost as the Sun crosses the solar nadir. Whether you’re looking at an empty nest or a nest egg depends on past actions.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

Recurring arguments, like dreams, reveal that there’s a lot more going on beneath the surface.  Questions instead of answers get to the heart of the matter.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

A cranky type steals focus as Xmas approaches, but you see right through it. You know that inside every Scrooge lies a Tiny Tim.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

Don’t read too much into a simple inquiry.  That person you think is questioning you, may in fact just be asking you a question.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

Let people give advice. You don’t have to follow it.  Besides, they’ll feel a lot better after having put in their two cents worth.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

Don’t let people use your words against you.  If they want to make a point, they can find their own.
