Daily horoscopes: August 9, 2017

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

It’s never a good idea to go against your better judgment. Whether it’s tiptoeing on a ladder to reach an out of the way spot or extending the benefit of the doubt you want to keep both feet planted today.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

Any rejection you can walk away from is good. The worst thing is to stick around feeling burned.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

This is not a good time to stretch the truth or play with the facts. They’re like irascible children today and will act out.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

You may not be aware that you’re making promises you can’t keep but it doesn’t matter because everyone’s enamored with you and will do what you say.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Net worth and self worth are not the same as you discover for yourself today. You know you’ve got a healthy ego. Now if you could only say the same for finances . . .

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

The first decision you made was the right one. Stick with it and you can’t go wrong.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

If a new regimen isn’t producing results then it’s time to scrap it. There’s no use in following something that’s leading nowhere.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

Bring along the things you know you’ll need. A trip isn’t as carefree as advertised and you don’t want to be left in a tough spot.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

Is your Freudian slip showing?  It could be with the Moon opposite Mercury.  Refrain from extemporaneous comments and things stay under wraps.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

It’s when things are most tense that you should stay put.  An either/or choice can’t trip you up if you don’t make a decision.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

You’re not out of the woods yet, but you can see the spires of the Emerald City in the distance.  Keep following that yellow brick road.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

An option you ruled out before is becoming increasingly viable.  Rethink your position.  It may not be entirely to your liking, but it has aspects worth pursuing.
