Daily horoscopes: August 14, 2017

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

Focus on what you need to accomplish in the day-to-day.  The larger than life questions can take care of themselves for now.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

You’re surprised when asked to prove yourself.  After all you’re practically a fixture – and that may be the point.  This is an opportunity to show yourself off in a new light.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Don’t get so fixated on what you feel you deserve that you ignore everything else you have.  You want to come across as a winner – not a whiner.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

You’re stressed, so naturally you’ll want to reach for the comfort food.  But it’s only Low Fat when you have a couple – not when you scarf down the entire box.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Lighten up and re-channel doubt into faith.  Believe in the best possible outcome and it will happen.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

You’re stuck in a mental loop looking for a solution that isn’t there.  Let go.  It’s out of your hands for now.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

You’ve been a good sport about supporting a loved one while he “finds” himself.  It’s time to tell him to bring it in for a landing.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

There are career changes in store and one of these involves the reawakening of an old aspiration.  It’s long overdue.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

You’ve been adrift for months and need to get in touch with what really lights your fire.  Find that and you’ll be cookin’ with gas!

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

You hate to take anything on faith but the truth is you don’t have any choice.  It’s OK.  Leaps like these are good for the soul.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

The only thing worse than having a temper is letting it get the best of you.  Welcome to the human race!  You’ll find that compassion for yourself and others begins with accepting foibles.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

You may be unable to feel the ground beneath you, but when has that ever mattered?  You’re not out of your depth as long as you follow the current of events.
