You’re democratic to a point. The more you debate with your kid or co-worker, the more you realize that you may need to use an iron hand.
You can’t blame others for your frustration if you won’t take the initiative. Doing things your way will prove more satisfying than waiting for permission.
If the terms aren’t right then don’t accept them. You may have to leave that offer on the table. It’s better than agreeing to something that isn’t right.
You’ve been so focused on yourself that you haven’t paid attention to developments in your partner’s life. These may wind up taking precedence.
