Labor Day is coming up. And while the end of summer traditionally means the end of your warm weather white ensembles, it totally doesn’t have to! White can be a year round color in your wardrobe if you pick the right pieces. In fact, I think year round white is a very classy style and can make anyone look like a millionaire if you do it right. So, I did some digital window shopping (and maybe did some actual shopping for myself on a few of these pieces… I couldn’t help myself!) and pulled out a few white pieces you could wear to your Labor Day Weekend bashes and way past the end of summer. And if you sport any of these duds, I guarantee that you’ll look like a million bucks no matter if you’re a millionaire or not!

Never in my life would I think I’d be drooling over a fanny pack, but here I am doing just that. This is so chic and unexpected. Plus, the separate compartments and hands free carrying capabilities are totally utilitarian. Chic and useful rarely come together like this. So, I really appreciate when they do. I imagine this looking adorable over cut offs while the weather’s still warm and it transitioning to be an adorable accessory with a tight dress or skinny pants and heels when temps drop.
Derek Lam 10 Crosby Leather Moto Jacket, $569.98
If moto jackets ever go out of style, please don’t tell me about it. I wouldn’t believe you anyway. Any outfit looks exponentially cooler with a moto jacket on. I’ve even seen a bride wear a moto jacket over her gown on her way into the church and it made her look so badass! This white moto jacket has that rad moto vibe and the white leather is daring and edgy, which just amps up that rad vibe. Throw it over your shoulders during the last few chilly nights of summer and wear it long into fall. Wouldn’t this look great with ripped jeans and a chunky sweater? (Spoiler alert: Yes, it would!)
Elizabeth and James Willa Reversible Bomber Jacket, $393.00
Here’s another jacket that’s 10/10 on the cool factor scale. Bomber jackets have seemed cool to me since I first saw Grease. The Pink Ladies were the tops in my book and they wore bomber jackets…that somehow had collars on them. This jacket is reversible, too. It’s white on one side and pink lady pink on the other! So, you know I love that! Rock this to a casual event any night of the year and you’ll definitely be the most stylish person as the party!
Gucci Brixton Foldable Leather Loafers, $630.00
Gucci loafers are everywhere now and I’m totally here for it. I love an easy way to be totally casual and still look put together and a loafer does that. It’s a polished and comfortable look. And these loafers in particular are great because they convert into slippers. Wear them as slippers during the summer and early fall for a very casual look and then pop up the back and you can wear them as loafers the rest of the year. Two for one!
Akris Geometric Lace Button-Front Blouse, $497.00
Juxtaposition is all the rage and this shirt totally does that. It’s a very business-like almost asexual cut, but the lace detailing is playful and feminine. You could make this part of an all white ensemble for a Labor Day evening or give it some edge during the colder months by wearing a black cami or bra under it and tucking it into a pair of distressed jeans.
