Daily horoscopes: January 23, 2018

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

Don’t mistake a superior’s show of minimal support for indifference.  S/he is working behind-the-scenes to promote your interests.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

Don’t lump everyone into the same group.  Each has something unique to offer if approached individually.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Accent the positive.  People are more cooperative when encouraged to believe the best rather than to assume the worst.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

You need to see what you’re capable of on your own because you’ll never know unless you try.  You’ll be pleased and impressed with the results.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

It’s important to preserve a certain relationship.  This person may not be able to do much now, but s/he will prove indispensable in the near future.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

Technically speaking you don’t have to give an inch.  The other party’s at fault, not you.  However a magnanimous gesture now couldn’t hurt.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

Don’t burn a bridge because you never know when you may have to cross back over it.  Tactfully agree to disagree.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

It’s hard watching opportunities dissolve, but it’s good because you can’t pursue them all.  What you’re left with will be the one that counts.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

A shake-up is actually good because you’ve been running in place getting nowhere fast.  This leads to more progress in the next 6 weeks than you’ve made in the last 6 months.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

A situation is out of your hands and should be left alone.  Inquiries made now would do more harm than good.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

There are still some rough edges, but you and a certain someone have the makings for a successful partnership.  Build on this and chalk the rest up to stylistic differences.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

You’re called away to attend to some unfinished business.  This couldn’t be more inconvenient, but see to it.  You’ll be glad you did.
