Daily horoscopes: February 13, 2018

ARIES.

(March 20 – April 19):

Keep feelings of resentment out of a negotiation.  People shouldn’t think you take things personally.  It undermines your position.

TAURUS.

(April 20 – May 20):

Careful not to speak out of turn with Mercury square Jupiter.  Appearances aren’t what they seem.  You could end up giving away the game.

GEMINI.

(May 21 – June 20):

Don’t make any commitments today.  Your aim to please falls quite wide of the mark.  Wait until next week when your perspective improves.

CANCER.

(June 21 – July 21):

People are more married to beliefs than previously thought.  Ease up on the strong-arming.  What you should do is coax and cajole.

LEO.

(July 22 – Aug. 22):

Don’t trumpet your victory.  You are still in a vulnerable position and enemies can (and will!) take advantage.  Better to humbly accept.

VIRGO.

(Aug. 23 – Sept. 22):

Don’t pick apart what people bring to the table.  You might frighten them or miss out on valuable treasures.  Let them show off their wares.

LIBRA.

(Sept. 23 – Oct. 22):

A joint enterprise requires you to hold up your end of things in order to work.  In this case you must draw a firm line and refuse to budge.

SCORPIO.

(Oct. 23 – Nov. 21):

Try as you may, a sibling just isn’t going to see things from your perspective.  Do the unexpected and be forgiving.  It gets you further.

SAGITTARIUS.

(Nov. 22 – Dec. 20):

You were burned.  But don’t let cynicism get the better of you.  Mercury square Jupiter may lead you to question someone on the level.

CAPRICORN.

(Dec. 21 – Jan. 19):

Don’t expect an easy consensus with Mercury square Jupiter.  Let everyone have their say.  Only then will the common denominator emerge.

AQUARIUS.

(Jan. 20 – Feb. 17):

The best way to escape a corner is to mirror what others say.  They’ll think that you’re in agreement with them and will happily back off.

PISCES.

(Feb. 18 – March 19):

A Mercury/Jupiter square brings out your mental wool gathering side.  Make something of all those facts and notes by weaving them together.
